Photochopping Paradise

Photoshop Paradise

One of the things I cringe at whenever I hear it is “We’ll just fix it in post”. It’s an unacceptable excuse for ineptitude. If you can’t pull a concept shot off without resorting to pushing pixels, then don’t do it.

Everyone loves a vintage hawaiian theme, but what do you do when your female model and your male model can’t be there the same day? Fix it in post! See here as he seamlessly superimposes the two together.

One of the first things we learn in art class is perspective and this violates that very basic rule. It’s not artsy, it’s just bad.

Do it better:

  • Composition your shot better
  • Simplify the concept
  • Obey the rules of perspective

There are no bad models…

...just bad photographers.

Model Misfires is a blog featuring examples of bad photography at its finest. These are noble attempts at beautiful/glamorous portraits that fall a few feet short. An embarassing way to get an education.
